SELLING WITH KIDS CLUBS
Many children-oriented companies try to attract
their customers with kid clubs. University Brands (UB), a shoe
company, was especially successful with their's. In fact, after
two months, 5,000 kids had joined. UB began their kid club when
launching a new line of children's shoes. The following are ideas
for kid clubs:
Make the club fun. UB printed riddles on the shoe boxes, called the club 'Kids University', and gave inexpensive prizes.
Find out what parents think. UB surveyed mothers who bought baby shoes.
Emphasize learning. UB publishes a newsletter
that covers the environment.
